How to choose in this department
The question in this department is always the same: is there a bra in it. A top with a built in shelf bra changes what you wear underneath and how it packs for a trip.
Cropped cuts sit at or above the waistband, which works with the high waisted shorts and leggings elsewhere on this site and works badly with anything that sits low.
Ribbed knits hold their shape and show it. Smooth jersey does the opposite. Both are here, and the fabric line on each page says which is which.
A shelf bra is not a high impact sports bra. For running, look for a piece that says so, because a built in shelf is made for comfort and coverage rather than for support at speed.
